WE AT BAF MEDIA HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE HIM ON OUR ONLINE SESSION CHAT.  EZEUGO HAS THESE TO SAY.
BAFMEDIA:   PLEASE SIR IT'S NICE TO HAVE YOU ON OUR BAFMEDIA INTERVIEW PLATFORM.

WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW YOU IN DETAIL PLEASE?

I'm Ezeugo Nnamdi, a Pan-African hailing from Nigeria, a graduate of Medical Laboratory Technology from The Delhi Paramedical and Management Institute and currently rounding up my master’s degree programme in Microbiology at Sharda University in India. I'm the current Secretary General of The Africa Asia Youth Foundation (AAYFO) an organization of which I'm a founding member, the Secretary General of The Association of African Students in India (AASI).

BAFMEDIA: THANKS, THAT'S GREAT. WHAT WAS THE JOURNEY LIKE WHEN YOU BEGAN

Ezeugo Nnamdi II:    I am originally from Laguru Ubakala, Umuahia South LGA Abia state, I have been a grassroots person all my life and share in a vision of egalitarianism and equity and that has in so many ways strengthened my position on life's challenges in achieving more for better representation of the people.

I understand leadership to be service and that has helped in the continuous sacrifice as to giving back to the community. Travelling outside Nigeria and Africa at large was an eye opener to the negative images that the rest of the world have towards the average African and how Africans in their ignorance have failed to correct such narrative but rather helped promoted it in various ways.

I had to join comrades of good will in promoting a narrative of our own. Started by Co-Founding a group Progressive African Youths For Change (PAYS) and emerging as the National University Coordinator of the Association of African Students in India (AASI) during which together with my comrades initiated a campaign #LetsUniteAgainstStereotypes#LetsUniteAgainstDiscrimination in a movement to counter long existing systemic racism towards Africans

It has not been easy, but my focus will always be on the positive

BAFMEDIA: WHAT DO YOU INTEND TO ACHIEVE IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS?

Ezeugo Nnamdi II  :Well as the head of the Africa Asia Youth Foundation (AAYFO) for another 2 years and perhaps more, we have set out a strategic plan that will focus on Asia and Africa member countries cooperation on youth level, from business to ICT, cultural exchange, and more.

Looking at the power failure in most countries in both continents, we will be championing for a Right to Energy Act and promote the adoption of Renewable and sustainable Energy.

With a clear understanding of the African Union agenda 2063 will be working closely with various Diaspora organizations and well meaning individuals from African decent willing to relocate and integrate in the continent.

The Pan African vision of Africa Renaissance is also a future I hope to behold and I believe that these will be achieved in the nearest days. Will be in Nigeria soon and hope to serve my people too.

BAFMEDIA:  PAN AFRICANISM!! PAN AFRICANISM!! WE HAVE SEEN YOU TALKING BROADLY ON IT. WHAT LEAD TO THIS?

Ezeugo Nnamdi II: Well until 1885 where in Berlin Africa got divided by those we regard as colonialists, we were together United. That is why you still see similarities despite the borders that divide us.

The continuous exploitation of my people is due to the division and that is the first challenge we have, it is there even amongst nationals where tribalistic and religious division are seen. These divides has not been helpful, and is seen also in Diaspora where Africans stereotype each other and the rest of the world laugh.

BAFMEDIA: THANKS VERY MUCH...WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING WITH YOU IN PERSON AND SHARE GREAT IDEAS.
WE CALL IT A RAP HERE!!
