Shady Aftermath Of APC, AA Clash In Imo

Barely 48 hours after the supporters of the All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate, Hope Uzodinma and his AA Opponent, Uche Nwosu clashed during the South East APC campaign rally for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, the Governor of Imo State, Owelle Anayo Rochas Okorocha summoned an emergency meeting of his close aides to possibly fashion out ways on how to achieve his aim of delivering his son-in-law at all cost.

Sources hinted that there has been uneasy situation in the camp of Okorocha over the incident last Saturday, hence he summoned those involved in the campaign structure of his son-in-law with view to solidify them to fight any form of battle.

The governor was visibly unhappy by the outcome of the rally especially the booing of his wife, Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha while delivering her speech at the rally which was graced by the wife of the Vice President of Nigeria, Dalapo Osinbajo and other top government functionaries at the federal level.

The closed door meeting was to pave ways on how Uche Nwosu will emerge the winner of the Imo Gubernatorial Election slated for next month, hence the governor called on his aides to think out of the box and device new means on how this can be achieved.

The coded crisis was not unconnected with the animosity emanating from the controversial APC gubernatorial primary election where the DUI were claiming to be winners. Although, all efforts made by the Governor Okorocha to swap the name of Hope Uzodinma with his son-in-law proved abortive.

Nevertheless, some APC stakeholders have vowed not to allow Governor Okorocha achieve his political dream since he has high level of political immaturity by coming to an APC event to campaign for the gain of another party.
