The APC leaders were invited for various anti-party activities. This was revealed in the invitation letter signed by the committee chairman, Matthew Omegara; and secretary, Kevin Ugwu on Tuesday, January 15, in Owerri.

The committee, according to the letter, will take decisions on what it described as “the ugly activities” after investigations. The committee will meet at the APC secretariat/campaign office, Owerri, between January 16 and 17, 2019 and 9am and 6pm respectively.

The letter reads in part:

“The above-named are directed to appear before a disciplinary committee of the All Progressives Congress, Imo state, to answer to complaints made against them respectively on “anti-party activities, conduct likely to have adverse effects on the party and bring the party into hatred, contempt, ridicule or disrepute and factionalisation of party membership.”
