Owelle Rochas Okorocha vows to stop Hope Uzodinma

Imo state Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha,  has poised to scuttle the gubernatorial ambition of Senator Hope Uzodinma through any way or means humanly possible in order to get back at him for his role in the botched bid by his son in law Uche Nwosu to clinch the governorship ticket of APC in the state.

According to inside sources, the governor made his intentions severally in a closed door meeting with close and trusted associates. A pointer is the defection of Nwosu to Action Alliance, which will help reduce the number of votes Hope Uzodinma will hope to garner in Orlu zone.

Another indicator is the planned creation of about 126 new autonomous communities in the state before 2019 elections.

According to our source, already, serious contact has being established with some of the communities seeking autonomous status from the existing ones. It was gathered that the proposed new autonomous communities are part of the administrations ploy to win the hearts of Imo people ahead of 2019 general election in favor of his son in-law, Uche Nwosu.

The news bearer also learnt that government has given a firm promise to the protagonist of the new autonomous communities that they will only be created if they support Uche Nwosu gubernatorial project. Meanwhile, there are signs that the government of Imo state might be collaborating with some of the fringe political parties just for that purpose.

The current postal war is revealing in areas like warehouse roundabout, Rock view Hotel vicinity and Amakohia fly over, some unknown persons are busy pasting other posters on Senator Hope Uzodinma's posters. It was alleged that this is part of the wider plan to hurt the campaign efforts of Senator Hope Uzodinma.
